ELPH
Estimated Locations of Pattern Hits - this is a general-purpose Gibbs sampler for finding motifs in a set of DNA or protein sequences. The program takes as input a set containing anywhere from a few dozen to thousands of sequences, and searches through them for the most common motif, assuming that each sequence contains one copy of the motif. We have used ELPH to find patterns such as ribosome binding sites (RBSs) and exon splicing enhancers (ESEs)

EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database
The EMBL Nucleotide Sequence Database constitutes Europe's primary nucleotide sequence resource. Main sources for DNA and RNA sequences are direct submissions from individual researchers, genome sequencing projects and patent applications.

Endopterygota (Holometabola) Insects
EDIT (European Distributed Institute of Taxonomy) scratchpad tool ; (The Holometabola Insects Phylogenetic Database (HIP-DB) is a molecular phylogenetics resource for DNA-taxonomy of this group. Users can access a database of nucleotide sequences for all commonly used markers available at Genbank in a format that can be utilised immediately in molecular systematics and DNA taxonomy)

Ephemeroptera Genomics
research project to address the higher-level phylogeny for Ephemeroptera using DNA sequence information combined with morphological data (with datasets) - Whiting Lab, Brigham Young University

European Ribosomal RNA Database
This database compiles all complete or nearly complete SSU (small subunit) and LSU (large subunit) ribosomal RNA sequences. Sequences are provided in aligned format. The alignment takes into account the secondary structure information derived by comparative sequence analysis of thousands of sequences. Additional information such as literature references, taxonomy, secondary structure modules and nucleotide variability maps, is also available. (University of Ghent)
